Chaperoning

Do you want someone to stay with you during your appointment?

As a practice we are committed to providing a safe, comfortable and secure environment where patients and staff can be confident that a safe environment is created and best practice is being followed at all times.

  • All patients are entitled to have a chaperone with them for any appointment.
  • The chaperone can be a family member, friend, carer or staff member.
  • If you would like a member of staff to accompany you during the visit, please let the receptionist know at the time you book the appointment so that we can ensure it is at a time when we can easily accommodate your request.

Your health care professional may also require a chaperone to be present during an examination, in accordance with our chaperone policy.

All practice staff have received appropriate chaperone training.

If you would like a copy of our chaperone policy or have any questions or comments regarding this then please contact the Practice Manager.
